What We Are Doing To Keep Employees and Customers Safe
Here are just a few steps the Vista Bahn Family is taking in order to increase preventive measures:
- Enhanced cleaning of common touch-points in our rental shop and locker rooms using disinfectant on all flat surfaces (i.e. cash wrap, counters, etc.), doors and door handles, cash registers and screens, bathrooms, and all rental equipment.
- Reinforcing the best practices from the CDC on preventing the spread of any illness to all of our associates:
- Wearing Masks at all times
- Clean your hands often.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with those who are sick.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes.

- Reinforcing associates to remain home if they are sick, and to call their direct manager before coming to work.
- Door signage asking customers who are showing symptoms of illness to please refrain from coming into the store, and use our website and/or to call us so that we may help them the best way we can while protecting our associates and other customers.
- Encouraging all new customers to make rental reservations online in advance in order to limit overall time in the rental shop.
- Social distancing floor tape in the rental shop.
- Asking guests to limit their time in the rental area and locker rooms to 15 minutes.
- Messaging around the rental shop and locker rooms about social distancing, as well as the best practices recommended by the CDC.
- Offering outside assistance through calling (970) 476-2566
- Ability to reserve your rentals through scanning a QR code located at our entryway
- Upon arrival guests may scan our unique code using their smartphone to begin a new reservation.
- If you are an existing customer, we will have your historical info and can get your same sizing, we just need you to make a new rental request.
- Wiping down all equipment thoroughly between each rental on a daily basis.
- A ski rack curbside pickup for advance reservations and end of day ski storage.
