The Fall Formula
Fall has arrived in full force in the Vail Valley. With temperatures dropping, snow has already begun to accumulate on the summits! Are you ready?
While Vail Mountain doesn’t open until, Friday, November 17, 2017, we are already working behind the scenes. Yes, there’s lots of paperwork to do, but the more exciting part is orders will start arriving in October. Skis, boots, poles and helmets galore – all to keep you skiing your best on the most current equipment.
Until then, Blaise and I will be following Matt on a ski training trip to Germany and Austria for 3 weeks. Our little adventurer has passport stamps to collect!
Until the snow flies, Dominique Underhill

At VBSR, we know that lifelong skiing is a joy as much as it is a commitment to the healthy lifestyle that makes it possible. Read the full article.
[VAIL] Vail Chair 11 Upgrade to Improve Vail Skiing
It’s summertime in Vail, but we’re already looking forward to the upcoming winter-and getting excited about the Vail Chair 11 upgrade for the 2017-2018 season. Also called the Northwoods Express Lift, Chair #11 provides access to amazing frontside skiing on Vail Mountain and helps disperse skier traffic. One of our favorite improvements to Vail Mountain this past winter was the addition of the new Sun Up Express Lift, Chair #9, which improved access to Vail’s famed Back Bowls. We’ll also hopefully see some similar improvements with the new Vail Chair 11 upgrade. Read the full article.
