That’s A Wrap
It’s always bittersweet to wrap up the ski season. While Jane and Joël were sad to miss our 40th season customer parties with Village Bagel and Leroux Creek Vineyards, we intend to continue the celebrations into next season when they are back from their travels so the entire family can be on hand!
We love the winter season and the summers just as much. What will be up to? After the shop closes Matt, Blaise, and I look forward to spending time with friends in Mexico, and traveling around Colorado in our van “The Playpen” – camping in style! Sacha, Emily, Remi, and Gage are looking forward to traveling Colorado as well, taking the truck into the mountains to camp and ride dirt bikes while overseeing Otter’s training of our new puppy Puma.
This summer the VBSR shop will re-open for their second season as Vail Bike Hub, run by two Vail locals; offering rental bikes for cruising around the village, demo bikes, and high end downhill bikes for those more serious about their riding. [Stop on in; however don’t be surprised to not find us in the shop as VBSR is not directly affiliated with Vail Bike Hub and doesn’t offer locker customer discounts. etc.]
Thanks for wrapping up our 40th anniversary year!
Cheers, Dominique Underhill

Where: Heli Ski Vacation | Nakusp, British Columbia, Canada
Once a year, I do something that scares me as much as it excites me. I believe it keeps me young at heart and courageous. A helicopter “heli” ski trip had been on my list for a decade. Why? And just so I wouldn’t be able to back out, I made a public announcement that I’d be going…eeks! Read the full article.
